Trickett Autoworks ® is our new trade name for Trickett Welding (Poole) Ltd.

Trickett Autoworks is a motor vehicle welding, fabrication, repair, rejuvenation and restoration specialists, based in Poole, Dorset.

A family run business with over 40 years experience, we pride ourselves in being able to keep our client’s Classic, Vintage and Family Cars, Sports Cars, Commercial Vans, 4x4 Off-Road Vehicles, Pickup Trucks, Camper Vans and Motorhomes, etc. fully functional and roadworthy.

Whilst we offer a comprehensive range of vehicle maintenance and repair services now, our origins were in the welding and fabrication industry. This is where we built our reputation for highly skilled craftsmanship, and how we began to attract clients from both the motor industry and the general public alike. Over the years this evolved Trickett Autoworks to where we are currently i.e. that almost 100% of our work is now repairing, maintaining, upgrading, painting, or fully restoring motor vehicles.

To ensure that we can meet the ever increasing demands of our customers, we have engaged further specialist staff e.g. mechanics, panel beaters and paint sprayers; we have invested in specialist machinery and equipment; and we have moved into larger premises.

In short, we can completely strip a vehicle down to its component parts; remove any rust; weld and/or fabricate the chassis and shell; treat the underbody and any bare metal, to protect it from future corrosion; renovate the mechanical parts; spray paint the bodywork (in our low-bake oven); and then put it all back together... and, if there are any jobs that we cannot do e.g. upholstery, specialist engine work etc. then we know and engage people who can.

Our hourly labour rate is comparable with most independent garages but because we are very thorough and only use high quality materials and products, our quotations may be a little higher than some. It will be for you to choose but we believe that we offer our customer's a reliable "value for money" service.
